Targeting Cognitive Impairment Across CNS Disorders
The goal of this program is to provide an update on scientific and regulatory issues regarding cognitive impairment as an important unmet need in several CNS disorders. The first session will focus on Cognitive Impairment in Schizophrenia (CIAS), an area for which there has been substantial methodological progress. So this session will focus on “lessons learned”. The second session in this program will focus on Cognitive Impairment in MDD (CI in MDD), an area where there is much recognition of unmet need, but not a well developed methodology or regulatory pathway. The final session will target cognitive impairment in bipolar illness and epilepsy, two areas that are in the very early stages of methodological development and regulatory consideration.
