ISCTM Meeting Archives
The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the clinical development of medical products. The virtual ISCTM Autumn Conference will include a 90-minute session entitled, “Regulatory viewpoints from EMA and FDA on contemporary challenges and strategies for conducting and analyzing clinical trials in the COVID-19 era.”, Tuesday 22 September. This session will be in the form of a moderated panel discussion, in which representatives from the EMA and FDA will provide regulatory perspectives in response to questions submitted by ISCTM membership and meeting registrants.

The Lewis A. Opler Prize, established in memory of the late Dr. Lewis Alan Opler, will be given annually to recognize individuals who have made important advances in measurement that will help accelerate the development of new treatments or cures for CNS disorders. Focusing on novel developments and contributions to assessment, awardees will be invited to present their work to members and participants at ISCTM.
15 September 2020 Recommendation Deadline: Recommendations for suitable candidates may be sent to the attention of the award committee: Submit Opler Prize Recommendation. Recommenders should include contact information for the candidate and a copy of their most recent CV.
Finalists will be asked to submit relevant publications and presentation materials for review along with the names of at least two references. The winner will receive funds to support travel and attendance to ISCTM. Read More
A new, brief, intensive, interactive program
for mid-career CNS clinical researchers
who wish to expand and refine their trial design expertise
19-20 February 2021 – Washington DC
During this 1.75-day interactive course, approximately 40 selected students will work closely with CNS trial design and methods experts who represent both academia and industry. A limited number of travel awards will be available.
