Challenges in Developing Therapeutics in Partially Responsive and Treatment Resistent Depression – Where Do We Go From Here?

Companies working in the mood disorders area have identified some challenges related to the implementation of recommendations from different regulatory agencies on clinical investigation of treatments for depression and their potential impact on new drug development. Particular challenges have been identified in the selection and documentation of patients who are partial (for adjunctive therapy) or full non-responders (Treatment Resistant Depression). In this symposium, experiences from industry researchers, clinical investigators, and regulators will be reviewed.
