Registration   |   Agenda  |   Program Committee   |   Contact   |   2009 Forum

Comparative effectiveness research represents a major emphasis for the development of policies to establish the value of therapies, pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic, for the treatment of CNS diseases.  In this session, leaders in the development of healthcare policy from around the world will address questions like: What are the urgent questions to be addressed by CER in the CNS area?  How should these questions be prioritized? What can we learn from the experience NICE in the UK?

Keynote Speaker:  Sir Michael Rawlins, NICE

The National Mental Health Research-to-Policy Forum will attempt to provide a compass for researchers and policy experts interested in the changing mental health science-policy-services landscape. The program will feature leading researchers, policy experts and decision makers who are engaged in advancing the capabilities of research for improving mental health.
